Why these functions not included in ePub Maker?
Because these functions are not difficult, (actually easy for manual work), but they are difficult for automation on graphic user interface. Each simple function need many forms and interactions, and they are very different. In order to keep ePub Maker stable, and not to influence ePub Maker version steps, these tools are designed separately.
